Well, you know those in the entertainment industry are not raciest. Sylvester Stallone and that Kardashian girl got that black woman Alice something pardoned. She shouldn’t have been given that much time anyway. I can’t get over how easy it is for our legal system to literally ruin lives. It’s been so bad for some black people men and women, they do commit suicide. This is unacceptable! Just listening to some of those people on that special tore at my heart. It is heavy and no human has the right to inflict this kind of daily suffering on another human. It’s horrible.

Honestly, I used to think it was all a big fuss over nothing but I think Mason is right, this is something that in recent years seems to be getting worse or perhaps we didn’t know. I remember Rodney King and watching that turned my stomach. I kept wondering what kind of animals beat a person down like that. I thought they were animals. Seeing how they are now gunning black people particularly men, down is heart wrenching. Listening to how traumatizing this is and always has been for black people just twist the knife a little faster.

Exposure, we have to listen and step outside of our comfort zones. We also have to stop pre-judging people based on the bias feeds we see on the news and other police type programs. The 1st 48 is the worse show on television and only perpetuates stereotypes and feeds into racist views. We have to be willing to step out of our boxes, or bubbles, and open our eyes to what is happening. I mean honestly, knowing black parents have to tell their kids the cops are not their friends is a horrible thing for all of us.

Rod…Nope, and the lawyers are getting on my nerves playing to the media about the issue. He is (new word folks) unprosecutable, EVER no matter what. Again, that is the tragedy of electing a criminal into the most powerful seat in this country. But, he was elected and now all we can do is hope congress will make sure no future president can do what this person has done going forward and I’m certain they will. Let’s keep the media at bay, take it with a grain of salt. It’s over reporting, over over over!!! Using certain terms, keeping the idea fresh in the minds of the general public.

I remember the talk and it was always about avoiding encounters with police. My parents put the fear in me and I fear cops to this day. I fear cops more than I do someone breaking into my house. Let me put it like this, to black people our public enemy is a law enforcement officer. We know we will not be heard, listened, right even if we are, treated as if we have rights, over policed and over sentenced of incarceration. We know we are not given the benefit of a fair anything in American law. We know that justice is not for us, Just us white folks. Yeah…the talk. It took place regularly in our home and it painted a very frightening picture.

Luke is right, this is a circus from the White House to the media. It’s just a joke and there us not much to be said for the average American who refuses to be in the know. You know what they say, ignorance is bliss. I’m for disqualifying voters who can’t pass a basic aptitude test. One of this country’s problems is to many idiots are allowed to vote and make decision that affect the entire country.

I want the white brothers and sisters, to share a time when you have witnessed something happening like those two women in Starbucks and it shocked you to actually witness racism in action. I’ll tell you the first time I saw a raw display of racism. It was when I first met Mason after she started dating my brother. We all met up at a restaurant in Scottsdale AZ. When it was time to be seated the waitress went to lead us away and when she saw Mason she stopped her and shook her head no and told her not her, just us. She honestly didn’t expect Mason to be a part of our group. Mason was the first one there so she should have been served first. Pop was there, our father. He arched and eyebrow and looked at me and we both looked at Michael whose face had literally turned to stone. He told her to get her manager, and she wasn’t sure why. The manager was so nervous. Michael asked him was it their policy to insult their African American customers and of course he said no. Let’s just say by the time Michael got through with them she was unemployed. I tell you what, is made me sick to my stomach. I could hardly eat and I couldn’t stop looking at Mason. She smiled and patted my hand. She told me it was all right, it wasn’t anything that shocked her. It shocked the hell out of me and I struggled to eat my meal. I mean suddenly I wondered if the cook spit in her food I just started having all kinds of thoughts, and I was so uncomfortable. I took her food away and told my pop and bro I wanted to leave. So we did. I just couldn’t get comfortable after that.
