Άρτεμις – Artemis Apollo’s twin sister, is the goddess of chastity, virginity, hunting, nature and the moon. Because she helped her mother, fleeing Hera, give birth to Apollo she received the title of being a protector of childbirth and labour. She rejected marriage and love perfuming to hunt. She was a protector of nature.
