I stopped watching because it’s mind boggling, it really is. There is no good reason for people to be voting for trump, not one.

OMG Mason. Tony and I are having the same problem. We have to go to family for every damn thing that’s important. Tony was so upset when he couldn’t get the car he wanted without a cosigner. Why, we own a damn home? It’s always something, some reason to say no. I hate it.

Pop…he did beat on mom but he was scared to touch Benji and I. We know why now but, maybe he damaged mom’s mind, physically. He would hit her until he knocked her out. He almost hit Benji once when he stood in front of mom to make him stop. He told him to move and Benji refused. He was about to swing at him but he stepped back and stormed out of the house. Mom took us to her sisters after that. She knew it was only a matter of time before he started in on Benji. We never lived with him again and then a few months later he was killed. We went home and my second to the oldest brother told mom they took care of him and we were safe now. I didn’t like “Tales From The Hood” because we called him Monster and my brother said they killed the monster. Why would you want to be seen as a monster? But, I lived through domestic violence and it’s a very devastating place to be.

Don’t fuck with my twin!

I guess we all see just how little this country has changed. They want a king, a tyrant to rule over them. They are voting to end democracy because that man has dismantled every descent office in our government. But that’s what they want I’m just disgusted. Did someone say man-child? I can’t believe how much shit this man just keeps brewing. I mean I can believe it but I guess I can’t wait until it’s over for us. I feel sorry for his family but that’s their problem, let them deal with it. I guess all the vermin will slither back under the rocks they live under when things are normal. They had their season and I’m glad we know how to spot them now, maybe it’s time to let them know what discrimination feels like. Shunning should be because of the type of person you are and nothing more or less.

I saw a man beat his wife in a casino. I ran toward the scene but security beat me to the enraged man. He hit her in the head with a wine glass and blood was running down her face. I looked at her and asked her to please tell me that was the first time he’s ever done anything like that. She shook her head no and I told her she was a fool and if she didn’t get the hell away from him he would kill her. I asked her did she want to die and she shook her head again. I promised her should would suffer a painful death if she remained with him. That pissed him off even more and he broke away from the guard holding him and ran toward me. Mistake on his part. He ran into my fist and hit the floor, which was where he was when the police arrived. I don’t know what she did, she laughed when I knocked him out, and I hope she laughed her ass out of that relationship as well.

I’m really tired of people claiming the votes are to close to call. Arizona needs to just call it officially already. The internet has it as blue and Biden does have the most votes. They are just having republican protestors and they don’t want it to get messy but that’s no reason to suppress the vote. Clearly more of us want him out than want him to stay.

I had one friend who was in a domestic violence situation and she really angered me because she wouldn’t protect herself. I called CPS because if she wasn’t willing to protect herself she wasn’t protecting her kids. She had three little girls. They took the kids and finally she allowed him to go to jail and be charged. Long story short her mother took the kids, she got involved in another relationship with a man that beat on her and she died of a drug overdose a few years later. Just a wasted life. I don’t know why she was like that because he father didn’t beat on her mother. He died early in her life, leaving her mother and the kids well off and he mother never remarried. She wasn’t abused or neglected she was just stupid for no reason at all. But, the father got our of prison, didn’t want anything to do with is daughters. Remarried and is doing the same thing to the new wife he did to the first. She’s not as stupid though and she’s left his ass. They have no kids. He doesn’t try to see his daughters and their grandmother is happy about that. On that note, I too think parenting should be a qualifying privilege not a right.

Well we lived in a home that had this kind of thing going on. Both Vicki and I ended up in relationships that weren’t healthy. We weren’t beaten on but the relationships weren’t healthy. Mike too. That first wife was wooo, that’s all I’m going to say. Then you went and got Mason

she was your match that’s for darn sure. No that was the best thing he’s ever done. He’s a wonderful man for it. But seriously, growing up in a home with domestic violence is very traumatizing. Like Mason says we suffer from a degree of PTSD because of the trauma. See all those Cuban and Venezuelans vote for what they are used to, a tyrant, a dictator that will oppress them. It’s what they know. They aren’t voting against an ideology they are voting for a system they are most accustom too. Just like a batter woman who refuses to accept the fact that she is with a monster and he’ll only get uglier with time.

I’m going to hold out hope some of these originally blue states come to their senses and Biden wins.

Tina, I lived it firsthand. You really don’t know how you ended up in the situation at first so I did try to hide it, especially from my family. I just hope it was going to get better. I was brave and stood up to him after the first time and it just made him worse. I immediately realized this was not someone I loved or could ever love and I had made big mistake. He hid this side of himself very well. Never showing me any sign of violence until after we were married. I kept thinking what did I miss? How did I end up with this horrible man that seemed to enjoy causing me physical pain? Well, dad didn’t do damn thing about it but my uncles stepped in and that’s how I got away. Uncle Mike told him the only person leaving the relationship via death would be him. He gave me a divorce reluctantly. He kept apologizing and telling me he loved me. I told him I did not love him. I do not and will not try to love anyone who enjoys hurting me. and he enjoyed it. I don’t know why and I don’t care.

Shawn is so different. I feel safe, loved, and protected with him.
