Mark, I do think we have the bases for a democracy, however Jay, I agree with you. It was a dream our forefather’s had but only for White people. Democracy in this country was never meant to include all people in this country, that is evident by how they immediately did the Native Americans. They lied to them, made them ill, tricked them out of their land much like the Republicans like to trick people into thinking they give a damn about anyone except themselves. So, the foundation was set, again for white only, and that shows today. Like the black woman in Texas being charged and having the threat of 5 years in prison for filling out a pulmonary ballot. It didn’t even count. And we have WHITE men who have been found guilty of actual voter fraud getting slapped on the hand. So, it is a democracy meant basically for White men. Police Chris, Slavery enforcement. That’s the foundation of what we now call law enforcement. So, this premise of being godly, is based on the bible and it’s declaration that women are supposed to walk in the shadow of a man. Both, BOTH of them ate off that damn tree so why are women the ones double cursed for it? Religion is another huge problem. It gives WHITE men that justification to mistreat everything other than WHITE men. So, knowing that the WHITE Mans God is not True God it’s actually explains why this dream of democracy has not fully come to completion. Democracy is Godly just as Mark says, True Godly!!!
