First let me say that all murderers have parents and siblings. With that said, Benson is showing a side I have never seen but he’s never been married or emotionally involved with a woman. He’s kept his distance from that kind of relationship. When this all came up I had not heard from him and both mom and dad were and remain concerned. Both have called me and requested I do what I can to keep Ashley and her kids safe. Mark has a fortress around him so I’m sure he’s safe but I’m not sure about Jay, Rocky, Ashley or her children.
Now Ben called this morning. He says he has no intention of harming anyone and he thinks the divorce is best because he was able to slap Ashley and he wanted to do more. Mark’s phone call stopped him and her pregnancy was not a factor. My father is appalled and my mother of course swears she saw it in him at a young age. I’m not sure about that but she’s suddenly very active in our lives and very concerned about Ashley. Her concern is genuine and honestly so is mine.
I let him talk and he says he does realizes he had no right to put his hands on Ashley and he has struck her more than once. This last time she left while he was at work and he has no idea where she is. He did look for her and I’m glad he could not find her. He took her phone when he went to work still angry that Mark called and reprimanded him the night before. Mark told him to stay away from Ashley or he would immediately cease to breath so he slept in the guest room and her kids he calls them, slept in the room with her.
He says he never hit the kids but he wanted to. He says his dislike was always there and it only grew worse after they moved into their new house together. He says Ashley took all of their personal things and he doesn’t want her to come back. He says he is keeping his house and will not give it to her.
Keep in mind I am just relaying what he said and I’m so pissed off I’m just, I’m just. I haven’t been this angry since my daughter disrobed for the cameras on College Girls Gone Wild. I can’t believe he hit Ashley and wanted to hit her more…while she is pregnant with his child! My father is so pissed he is speechless. We are sorry Ashley and we are here for you. I’m glad Josh has come. I like him and he will be a better man to and for you, know that. If it’s hard to keep Ben’s daughter because of how he’s treated you, Vicki and I are still willing to take on that responsibility. The choice is yours and we will support your decision.
It’s about time people joined me in standing up to them.
