I’m impressed and my heart and mind or at ease. The meeting did wonders in easing my mind about many things. Death was a huge fear for me. It’s the unknown that scared me so much. The way Mark put it it is not the unknown. If we are living right, and we know True God, and we understand what it means to love we are on the right track. God is love and realizing that helps keep us on the right track. Liz, Nico thank you for showing us how it’s done.

Bro…I love you. It’s been one hell of a ride. You have been and always will be a rock, a symbol of stability, an icon of sanctuary but most of all you’ve been a father Nico, more so than a brother. You fix shit, make it all right. I fear losing you but realize it is time to utilize what you have taught us and make you proud. As you prepare to leave us I want to thank you for being an example and showing us how this too is done. There are no words to express my love, respect, and how much I admire you so heart to heart big bro know me like you have always known me. Until we meet again my kin and we will meet again.

Liz, Nico, you are shining examples in passing on the right way. Part of me wants to celebrate your graduation and another part feels immense sorrow because I will not see the two of you again in this place, in this life. I’m sure parents can relate to this feeling somewhat as the watch their children grow up, graduate, go off to college, and embark on a life outside of your home. I am a new parent and have yet to experience that but I can imagine it being just as difficult as seeing the two of you off. As parents you are proud but you are also sad to see your children off to the next part of their journey. This is how I feel right now.

Wow Nico, sometimes I wake up and I ask myself is this really happening? You have done so much for me in my life. I have to agree with Chris. You have been more than just a brother-in-law. You have been a savior, a father figure and I truly feel as if I am losing a parent. I am comforted knowing you are going to a better place. Soon there will be no more pain. You will leave all the horrors of this world behind and go to a more peaceful, civil place. To know you and be in your life has been a honor, a great pleasure, and a tremendous blessing on my part. I love you more than I know how to express. Thank you for being a part of my life and allowing me to be a part of yours.

Liz, you are beautiful inside and out and you will also be missed but remembered for the beautiful wonderful woman you are. It’s been a pleasure my lady.

Nico, my brother, my best friend. I am afraid to continue on without you but I am determined to make you proud. I know this is graduation for you but as it was, like Rhena said, when my sons prepare to leave and start their own lives, I am happy for them but sad because I know things will never be the same. I cry all the time but because it’s hard to imagine living in this world without you. You’ll see mom soon. Tell her we love and miss her. Say hi to Caleb. Hug Sir Paul for me. Tell Laura Courtney is a different girl changing for the better. Tell Roscoe we still miss his hearty laugh. Tell MG we miss her so so much and we look forward to seeing them all again. God Speed my sweet big brother I love you now and forever.

Liz, you will be missed as well. I hope you meet those we’ve lost I hope all of you are great friends. It was so good to meet and get to know you. You have a beautiful son and I know it comforts you to know that your only is such a wonder person. Bon Voyage my friend.
