Mike, not to worry. Liz, Nico thank you to both of you for showing us how this is done. Your worries are about to be over. Graduation is over and although our society loves paint the passing process as something terrible that is contrary to the truth. Please understand that folks. Mason, tell your friend we appreciate her empathy but Nico does not need prayer for healing. We have been down this road and when it is time it is time. He is in pain and has been for a long time. Liz is as well. It is a pain that disturbs sleep which is why they are always tired. Now is the time to support the family and remain in the realm of reality, remaining outside unrealistic expectations and notions. The fact is death is a part of this journey and it’s time we stop trying to make this into something we can avoid, or unnecessarily prolong. We are all a little sad about these family members graduating and moving on, but as they have accepted it we must accept it as well. Prayers for healing are not appropriate at this time. Prayers for strength and moving forward for family and friends left behind are more appropriate. They move on to a better place while we are left behind in this very hellish world riddled with violence, cruelty, and uncertainty.
