Yes, I put in my resignation and I already have another job lined up. I’m going to lead security for the island Justin and Mark brought. I’ll stand in for Carmine until he’s back with us. We saw him this past weekend and he’s looking good. We all miss him and he said he misses us and his family. I’m fed up with all this unnecessary killing. In every killing there was no need to use deadly force and there is no excuse for using it. I want to be a part of a organization that is respected by all not just a few. I told all of my coworkers if they want everyone to support them and they should, they need to all stand up for real justice because that is what we are suppose to stand for, not racial motivated acts of violence. That makes us no better than the criminals we are trying to apprehend and that’s why there is now this divide that is spreading. I don’t want the lord to catch me waddling in complacency in a career that allows this to continue so I resigned giving the reason I just shared with all of you.

I know you were going to keep it real with us Mason, and get deep. You always do girl LOL. I mean you’re right all of we white people know in our hearts black people are getting a raw deal. I mean white comedians make jokes about it so yes we know. I think it does make us uncomfortable. I mean we know it’s wrong but it’s easier to just tell ourselves we aren’t treating black or any minorities bad and all we can do is make sure we aren’t a part of what is going on. I will admit I see minorities with lighter complexions treated much better. It’s true, the lighter your skin the more you are accepted or acceptable in main stream life in America. I talk to Benny about it and we are at a loss as to what else we can do but teach our children to be better toward minorities but society will affect and infect them. So I am open to suggestions because Chris said something the other day that shocked me. He asked me why are black people always complaining about their life and white people don’t. Benny asked him does he get looked at strangely when he’s in a store, he said no. He asked him do people act like they don’t want to help him when we go out to eat or take to long to serve us, he said no. He asked him do people lock their car doors when we walk by them and he shook his head no. But he clearly began to understand. Erica told us about a black student in her class the teacher is mean to for no reason. All the kids notice it but none of them know what to do. I told her thanks for telling me. I had a talk with the principle and told her I don’t like how this behavior made my daughter feel and I was assured the situation would be taken care of immediately. All they did was move the girl from the classroom as if she’s the problem. It’s a hot mess. Needless to say I have since removed my kids from public schools because if my kids are learning anything in public schools it’s all the things I really don’t want them exposed to.

Mason that response was on point ma’am. I have also spoken to my superiors about the situation. I want to be a part of a respected institution because we do respectable honorable work. I told him I find myself supporting Black Lives Matter. I can’t excuse what is going on especially when real dangerous people are being taken alive. Excessive force is not being used when dealing with actual terrorist. What is wrong with tazing? What is wrong with pepper spray? What is wrong with trying to deescalate a situation by remaining calm? That’s our job, not just pulling out our weapons and gunning down American Citizens. There is no honor in what is happening. There is no excuse for it that holds weight. There is no room for racism in a law enforcement position. I’m being shunned at work because I don’t like what’s going on. One officer even told me I was a nigger lover and my religion was making me soft. I almost fucked his boney ass up but my FAITH kept me from breaking his neck. I’m a muscular guy so I don’t worry about they doing anything to me and most of them don’t openly attempt to have any confrontation with me. I did give him a look and he took off which was also a good choice for him. I don’t want to feel that way toward a fellow officer and when you find yourself identifying with the victims and the perpetrators are men and women in your profession, it’s time to question whether or not you are in the right profession. My superior asked me to take a few days off and think about it because I am a leader and sometimes leaders have to take difficult stances. I’m thinking and I’m sleeping with one eye open and my gun within arms reach.

I think we have to stand together for right and refuse to be pulled into the old rhetoric. We can make a stand, white people, by saying no we will not stand in agreement with the habitual form of institutionalized racism that had infected this country long enough. I am disturbed that black people in this country are afraid of law enforcement. I always have been disturbed by this. Now I can see why and have to agree, they should be afraid. I find myself paying a little more attention to what is happening in our history when it is written about and made into movies. Law enforcement is always instrumental in perpetuating violent racial behavior. This cannot be over looked any longer. It’s time for some accountability. I agree Mason.

I’m scared to Deb, Mason, I’m scared for my son for being brave enough to stand up. I’m scared for Doug and all law enforcement officers who stand up. The backlash for standing up is often very costly. They attack your livelihood. That’s why white people remain silent even when they hate what they see happening. To stand up is to become just as shunned and hated as the people who are being victimized. You job is threatened. You car, you home, your family. I agree, white people are way more violent and vicious than black people. Who drags a man until his head pops off? What kind of animal does something like that? What kind of people damn near erases an entire race of people, Kelton’s people? Have you read how many of them were slaughtered? What kind of beasts make sport of hunting anything living for anything other than clothing or for consumption? How sick is it to even want a bull’s head on your wall, a tiger’s skin on your floor? Savages, that’s what many white people are and I’m worried about my son for doing the right thing.

I feel fear for my husband because he confront someone every day for his stance, every day. He have employees that show intense dislike for him and tell him all he does is waste what he was blessed with. He fire the man that said that to him and now Rocky and Doug will be bodyguards because my husband life in danger. This hate is so very strong so very scary. Mason you tell our father how scary this is to live with day after day. Luke to tell another man to get lost. I miss Roscoe, I miss Michael. They keep us safe and now we are vulnerable, Mason ask for us to be safe because Carmine is gone for a while now too.
