I only fellowship when it comes to our Gnostic Group and I love it. I don’t always enjoy being around some of my friends because some of them are stupid and think Trump is what this country needs. I walked away from them the other night. I told my best friend Joy we are not going to be friends anymore. I told her it’s time I woke up and realized her and I are two different kind of people. She cried and called me mean but I’m not the mean one. I just can’t keep ignoring how they behave and talk. I told her I’m a Gnostic, a member of Black Lives Matter, and would never vote for Donald Trump and I hung up. It was all I needed to say. She is none of those things.

You know Lydia, I find myself walking away from my old friends as well as they don’t even look normal to me anymore. The things I once enjoyed just aren’t fun anymore. I'm tired of pretending there isn’t a racial problem in this country. I’m a police officer. I walked away from the group I always spend time with because I’m tired of it. It’s bullshit and I’m tired of some of the shit they say. I signed up to protect all citizens of this country not just white citizens. I set with some of the black officers. The chief told me he knew that was coming. He’s black. He walked away calling me Mr. Gnostic and I laughed. We ended up talking about my faith and several other white officers joined us. We were laughing and having a good time. I am a public servant and we are here for all the people in our public. They teased me about my X . They said when I ended that they knew I was a new man. I don’t think Black Lives Matter is anti police or law enforcement. I agree with you Mark, they want fair and equal treatment under the law and they are not only entitled to that, they deserve that.

I caught some static for joining the Black Lives Matter movement but this movement is going on all over the world. Face book has posted some of the other countries that are protesting for this cause as well. It’s a good cause and when I showed my parents it made my mother cry. It’s wrong and Americans need to face it. I remember when TJ called me all nervous when the cops pulled him over and he was driving my car. Man that messed with me and it still does. The kids were crying and I was too far away. I called Nick on the three way and Justin God I was afraid. He was so terrified and I felt helpless. I don’t think black people should feel terrorized like that by law enforcement and that doesn’t mean I don’t respect law enforcement Marc is a police officer, so is Doug and Adam. Mike is a federal officer or was he’s retired now. Roscoe was federal. My point is the bad ones are making the whole institution in America look bad just like Trump and the Republican Party. I was a republican too until Bush fucked things up like he did. I gave Obama a shot and I’m sick of folks forgetting all that he’s done for this country. It’s been a hell of a lot. So yes I fellowship with on the regular and I enjoy those I gather with because we have the same beliefs and values.

I honestly think Trump is so arrogant he is going to hang himself folks. I'm sick of him saturating the news so I don’t look at the American news anymore it’s like North Korea, we never see the truth anyway and they want us to think a certain kind of way so they restrict what the broadcast like I want to her about the black woman gunned down by police recently. Haven’t heard a thing and this is why the Black Lives Matter Movement can’t give up or go away. We are back to the coverup and down play again.

Mark thanks for the clarification. I love how you make things so clear. I have to admit I do feel as if I see things and people in a way I’ve never saw them before. The things that go one behind the sense are devastating. The struggle for equality is a battle because some white people really don’t want a fair and equal society. I can’t deny this seems to be the republican way, oppression and seeing that is kind of scary. But they are falling which only proves to me God still sits on the thrown. I’m glad you spoke up about those evangelicals too Mark. They are corrupt in so many ways and using God to push their selfish agendas. I really can’t believe how heartless the NRA is as well. We saw that when all those kids were killed and they didn’t want to do anything about it. I really couldn’t believe it. I also agree that they want to scream about the 2nd amendment in the constitution. What about the 6th and the 8th amendments that deal with how humans held against their will in jails and prisons are treated? They have found ways around giving people speedy trails, and they impose fines and bail that is too high and excessive. I mean these rights are being violated and ignored. So why not ignore the second amendment as well. I don’t care about the second amendment because they don’t care about the human rights part of the constitution.

I agree with many things in this article Mark and I think we should report protest that address real issues. Black Lives Matter is a movement that is spread out all over the world and unfortunately our media doesn’t show Americans how upsetting this is around the world. I think if they allowed it it would force law enforcement officials to really start to deal with this so we hear absolutely no more stories of police gunning down black people. I keep reading about or hearing about another police involved shooting and I respect law enforcement but one gunning down a person because they see race first is one too many. There are so many things going on in this country these days. Trump is a republican disaster and anyone voting for him is suicidal. I have to agree I stopped being a republican after Bush and I haven’t had a day go by that I regret my decision.

I enjoy fellowshipping with our group and how we can agree to disagree even with my husband I do not support black lives matter because I think it’s having a negative impact on all law enforcement and my son is a officer. I just want things to get better because I do care about what is going on but I don’t want my son caught in the crossfire. The whole thing makes me sad and afraid.

I disgusted with the republican candidate and I really wish they would tell all the fools supporting him they have lost their damn minds and this man will not be president. If they don’t like it they can take their big fat sloppy asses somewhere else. I can’t believe any woman is voting for this man but if you ask me the country can do without these kinds of ignorant few because they are the ones who give America a black eye.
