I am also part Jewish and I agree with you Justin. I am also disgusted with the Prime Minister from Israel. I had to consult with Jess about a patient I have who made a offhanded racist remark about why everyone hates Jewish people. She said we have to many kids and take over other people’s countries all the time. She didn’t realize I am Jewish. I talked it over with Jess and Mark and called her up to refer her to another psychologist. When she asked me why I was referring her I told her I didn’t want her to be subject to a Jewish psychologist. I wished her luck and said goodbye.
Racism hurts. I was more hurt than offended. My father actually visited me and hugged me when I told him why I was upset. He said he understand that racism is a ugly thing and he will not be a racist anymore. He told me he was proud of me and it made me feel so much better easing how bad my former patient made me feel.
Both Jess and I have sent out memos to our patients informing them of our faith and our ethnicity so that there is no question going forward and they can feel free to seek services elsewhere if this is a problem for them.
Haven said all that I chose to post it here because I absolutely think Trump is a racist and most if not all the people in his administration is racist. He’s causing a divide in this country that will send it on a downward spiral it will be hard to reverse and set right again. They are disrupters, deceivers, destroyers…Mason, remember the dream you had some years back when you heard these three words coming from a shadowed figure? This administration and the party they are affiliated with are not good for this country but this again brings us back to the 95/5. It’s all right Mason, the 5 are coming in don’t worry about the 95 it’s all right UE wasn’t meant for all eyes to see, clearly. It’s becoming more and more clear every day.
