I was with Mason when she first started this series over twenty years ago. I loved the rewrite but I’ve always been a fan of all the characters in this story. I’m glad she has decided to publish the series. It was always an exciting journey for me. All of the characters make an impact and add to the overall story. I enjoyed reading this novel and it is big but it holds your attention and doesn’t take long to get through it. I’m anxious for volume two.

I do not like to read but this has changed my mind. If it holds my attention like this book did, I think I like to read. I loved the characters. They are just as funny as they are serious. I loved Gina, the sister. She’s funny and a bully in a fun kind of way. Juliano is a striking character but so is AJ. Just imagining what the warriors look like in warrior form I see pretty impressive beings and I’m assuming they are all males. I found the ability to travel not just from location to location on the planet but galactic travel by stepping through portals that Apollo can open. I don’t know what it is about him but I’m anxious to find out in future volumes of this story. It held my interest because of the serious things going on. Some humans are always messing with stuff this just turns out to be better than what they were seeking just not will to work in the capacity they wanted them to. I was like oh shit now. I was able to get involved with the characters even the intimate encounters particularly with Juliano. I also have to say the ways they interact with each other you can seriously relate to. The scientist put so much in them and the first on Narcus, had to figure how to incorporate it and come out looking normal. I’m ready for the adventure to continue.
