I enjoyed this book, it has a good story line very impressive characters, and very relatable situations that make some of the situations quite authentic. It needs to transition from one scene or situation better but I was able to remain interested and pick up with the flow pretty well. I am intrigued and do look forward to seeing where this story takes me so I am a fan and will stay with the series.

This book reached down and touched me in so many relatable ways. I like books that don’t exaggerate how Melanin folks are. I’d like to see an author like Mason write and have her stuff on television because it has a way of encompassing us all and making us shine in the place we are if that makes sense. The bad guys are the bad guys and one of them happens to be blue. It is so inclusive and that’s what made it even more enjoyable.
