Amen Darla. I don’t have any faith in humanity at this point either. It is true that every ugly thing white people are guilty of, especially when they know it’s horrible, they manage to true it around and blame the victim. The woman is blamed and punished when the man rapes and abuses her. It is always the fault of the victim when they are beaten, harassed, and tormented by white people in positions to do these types of things. I don’t know how man of you have seen the movie Wicked, I enjoyed this movie and I don’t usually enjoy these kinds of movies, but not only was this movie inclusive and diverse, it actually showed how people in positions of power, can create a narrative that is shared, that contains lies and deceptions. These lies spread and become truth until years later, sometimes after many have been victimized by the lie. How often were we told growing up, Native American, African Americans, and Latino Americans are dangerous? What are any of these misconceptions based on? Lies that paint victims as the perpetrators. I agree with Darla, it’s time to just separate the bad from the good and that will take beings bigger than humans.
