How Do We Begin

Many Americans in a position to exit the United States have elected to do so, deciding they have no desire to live in a country led by a man who has 34 felony charges. We are hearing how Americans who voted for a criminal are being negatively impacted by some of the executive orders he signed on his first day. Do we feel sorry for them?
Many department stores have bought into this DEI thing he’s attempting to tear down. DEI benefits WHITE Americans more than any group of people. To many WHITE people bought into this being something that benefits BLACK people in the United States. BLACK people benefit the least from DEI services. But, when one is led by hate, they look to find things that support that which they hate, so it is justified. Well, in the words of BLACK people. They have Fucked Around and they are finding out.
International suppliers for the department stores (Walmart, Target, Amazon) who have decided to end their practices that supported by DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), are pulling their services. Many diversity groups are pulling their products from their shelves. I know it is hard to boycott these stores but minorities need to do their best to refuse to spend their money at these department stores. Decent people in financially stable situations, need to start investing in minorities who want to open retail stores that do appreciate diversity.
There are wealthy people who have shown their support for a criminal, because they themselves, appreciate a leader that allows them to feel comfortable with the criminal in themselves. Those who do not embrace supporting a criminal, need to throw their money and support behind people who will welcome all people, into their industries despite a government policy that allows people to ignore diversity. We can all choose to do the right things, and no one should support a business that so easily chooses to return to their discriminating practices.
What do we do now? We come out and separate. Be better than they are. Do better than they do. Do things differently. Be more interested in being righteous. Become more in tune with our morality. We can CARE. It is time to put away all ideas that helping people is too Socialistic. Because, honestly, caring about people other than ourselves, does require some type of social empathy. Children need to eat, be educated, have adequate shelter. We as fellow human beings, should care about things like this. It is time to come away from our stark capitalism ideals in the United States.
It is time to care. It is time to do the right thing. It is time to form some personal values, to have some personal lines we will not cross, for any reason. When we voted this November every one of us, should have had a personal, moral line that guided our selection. We all should have had things that we value personally, that mattered to our individual sense of worth. Sadly, it does not appear many voters had an individual sense of worth.
We cannot make people care about themselves. We can only decide for our personal selves, what matters to us individually, and it starts with deciding we do matter. A person has to have a sense of self-worth, personal values, that matter to them. We simply cannot help any person who lacks these traits. We never should be voting a particular way based on a single issue. We never should be voting for a person because he or she is in the party we have always voted for. We vote because of what is best for us personally. What is best for those whom we love and care about. We vote for the things that are best for our country, especially if we call ourselves patriotic.
Let’s talk about things we can do to improve our communities, or society, if we are going to live in the United States. We can make changes to how we view things. Is capitalism working for our society? The answer is no. We have a huge homeless population, and that alone answers the question as to is capitalism an ideal that is productive in any society. Is conservatism working in our society? NO! If people are not allowed to progress, as life is a process of progression, to suppress progression is simply a SIN. Conservatism is, by nature, antilife, thus it is anti-GOD. It is time to get in touch with the part of our intellect that draws from logic.

Loyalty to Country, Political Party or a Person

Hello Forum, I am Carter, one of the forums newer members. Here we are, in one of the craziest political cycles in my adult life. This is really unprecedented in the nation’s history. We have a man running for president, Donald Trump, who is literally a criminal. His opponent is a black/Asian female, Kamala Harris, who is a former district attorney, as well as an attorney general in the state of California. She was a member of congress, a senator, and is now this countries vice president. She is clearly a person who upholds the law, while Trump violates the law with ease.
It is understood, in the Gnostic faith, that we are loyal to the Most High first in our lives. We are then true to ourselves, which means we accept truths about ourselves, and live up to those truths, as we seek to fulfil our personal expectations in, and for, our lives. We are also loyal to our families. Beyond those loyalties, as citizens of this country, upon learning what comes with that citizenship, we honor our country as this is a justifiable requirement associated with citizenship. This is how we show how much we cherish our country, and respect the institution our nation was founded on, democracy. This is a loyalty that supersedes loyalty to a specific political party, especially if that party is showing any form of rebellion against the core principles that govern this country.
As a citizen of the United States, we know that this is a democratic system of government, which gives all citizens, of age, a say in who and how they will be represented in their government. We vote in the United States and it is now time we understood the seriousness of this power. It is time to realize we have to take responsibility for those we send to Washington to represent us. These representatives must me qualified. They must know and have a solid understanding of the laws that govern our country, as these laws are the foundation of this country’s democracy.
The United States is governed by a set of laws we call the Constitution. We have a court, the Supreme Court, one of the three levels of government in this country, that is charged with the responsibility of upholding the laws written in the constitution. They are not appointed to change or attempt to convolute the laws with hypotheticals as a means to sidestep, or avoid, following the constitution. This only weakens the laws written in the constitution, making them appear invalid in certain circumstances, even inconsequential, hereby rendering the law meaningless, worthless even. Thus, this tears down the democracy the United States was founded and built upon.
As citizens of this country, we must demand that the court appointed to uphold this nation’s primary laws, does what the justices appointed to this court, are charged with doing. Every time something or someone does something that has never been done, that challenges the laws written in the constitution. This does not mean come up with hypothetical scenarios that nullify the law or laws written in the constitution. Unprecedented means something has not ever been done before. This should not weaken the laws that our nation is governed by. In fact, this is why the constitution was written.
The 2024 United States election calls for us all to show and pledge our loyalty to our nation, FIRST, as this is what we, as citizens of this country, have been and continue to do since we first entered the educational system. We put or right hand over out heart and we pledge allegiance to the United States of America. We sing our national anthem, during all sporting events. We pledge our loyalty to our country, not one individual, and we have been doing this since the age of five.
Our life long pledge, as citizens of this country, obligates us to respect and honor the laws this country was founded on. Our duty as citizens requires, we uphold the United States Constitution, and enact some form of punishment for any citizen who refuses to abide by the pledge they have been making all their lives. Our justice system and justices, at least six of them, are not just. Let us begin there. A man named Marcellous Williams. was executed in Missouri, on the 26th of September. There were questions, possibly proof, he was innocent. Therefore, this should not have happened. The Supreme Court refused to hear this mans appealed case and he was put to death. If he was innocent, he was legally murdered. Isn’t murder, murder?
Nationally, we need to do away with the death penalty in all States to avoid the legal murder of innocent people. In order for American Citizens to comfortably honor our nations laws, those charged with enforcing them, need to be, must be, honorable. We have dishonorable law enforcement officers, dishonorable leaders, and dishonorable justices seated on the bench of the Supreme Court. This needs to be addressed and rectified. Let us not allow our leaders to overlook or ignore this issue once Kamala Harris is our president.
The continued claim, by maga republicans, that they are patriotic and love this country is a sad joke. It is unclear how they profess to make this claim, as they continue to deny women a right to decide what will happen with their bodies, which is a form of slavery, ownership. They are comfortable having a felon lead them, a transgressor of the law, and they do not respect the laws this nation was founded on, our constitution.
This is not patriotic. This in not honoring the oath we take from the time we enter school. This is not having love or respect for our country. They are not patriots. They are hateful, racist terrorist. What do we do with these people when it is all said and done? They have clearly shown a willingness to overthrow our democratic structure. Unfortunately, in this country, one is only guilty of treason if the align themselves with an enemy of this nation and wage war against the United States. They barely fall short of this as Donald Trump clearly stands behind Putin, an enemy of the United States. So, those who stand behind Trump, share his allegiance with Putin and are all guilty of treasonous behavior. What say all of you? Let’s talk about it here in the forum.
