Well, I think there comes a time when we all have to admit we see things as they truly are. There comes a time when we have to decided what kind of person we or and will always be even if it means risking alienation from the group. If the group is wrong the group is wrong and we must decide we will not be wrong along with the whole of the group. We don’t have to go down with a sinking ship, and make no mistake about it, racism, torment, and oppression is a thing of the past. As soon as we stand up and speak out, we will find others who will do the same. I worked with a guy who was full of hate towards black people. He did mean things to them, even threatened to plant evidence that would send them to prison for the rest of their lives. He also had some kind of blood lust that gave me the creeps. He made me uncomfortable and I had to voice my concerns to our superiors. Come to find out I wasn’t the only one who sought advice about the discomfort his true self caused. I was reassigned and a few months later we ran into each other. He literally attempted to back me in a corner, expressing his anger toward me for requesting to be reassigned. He was taller than me, bigger than me, but I wasn’t about to show him an ounce of fear. I looked him up and down, extended my right arm and told him he was in my personal space. Everybody knows how I am about my personal space. He laughed, backed up and called me a nigger lover. I looked him up and down again and it was his turn to feel uncomfortable and when he told me I was crazy I nodded and told him he had no damn idea. I walked away and he told me to watch my back, I didn’t look back at him but I told him I always watch my back. Carma catches us all and he was fired after beating his wife causing some serious injuries.

I have seen subtle forms of blatant racism but there have been three times when I’ve seen raw hatred and knew a black person was in danger if they ran into one of these people. I honestly do my best to intervene and that’s all I’m going to say about that. Protect the innocent that’s always been my calling and I take it very seriously.

I can’t do it anymore. I can’t. It’s wrong and damnit they know it’s wrong. It’s not rocket science. I can’t stand the site of a trump supporter. They turn my stomach. I have walked away from a few friends because I know that we are not in the same place. Supporting trump is more than just being a republican. There is something sinister about it, cultish. I absolutely can’t understand how anyone is all right supporting this man knowing what we all know about him. We don’t need anymore proof. I’m with Niobi, just tell me when he’s no long sitting in the president seat with his totally none presidential ass.

I got my fist pumping in the air. That’s my sister right there. Lead by example sis I’ll be doing the same thing going forward. Our mother is racist. I don’t deal with her because she is full of hate and always told me I was retarded. Every time she took me anywhere she would always tell me to come on followed by retarded. She also told me I was dumber than a “n” word. I told pop and it wasn’t a pretty situation. We left after that, spending a lot of time in Italy with MG. I never wanted to see her and would keep my distance whenever she was around. When I turned thirteen she said something about black people and I told her she was the one with the problem. I glared at her and told her I couldn’t stand the sight of her she disgusts me. She tried to get dad to discipline me about it but he just laughed and told her I was right. So, to this day I don’t have too much to say to her. Of course she’s a trump supporter and both Chris and I are married to women of color. I loved Aliana and thought of her as my mother after we met her. She was everything pure a son thinks of when he thinks of his mother. I’m with you Mary, I have no tolerance for racism.

. I have been on the receiving end of so many racist acts when it comes to white people. In recent years it’s gotten worse if you ask me. White women are far worse than the men too. The men aren’t a problem, at least not to black women, but white women are mean to black men, women, and children. I remember the threatening to call the police on us just for playing outside. I know you all have heard how cops were pinning crimes on black people in Florida, crimes they didn’t commit because it’s so damn easy to blame black people for stuff. It’s so easily believed. We live in a hostile world, black people and I’m glad to hear white people starting to acknowledge how dangerous life is for black people.
