I like Jess can vouch for how emotionally damaging hearing things the wrong way all your life can be. It can affect how you view yourself and others and when you start to see that what you have been told are what you have learned most of your life may not be correct. It not only confuses children this is something that is confusing to adults. What we believe is really ingrained into the fiber of Who We Are. And sometimes learning that it was all wrong is a little overwhelming. In fact, is easier to just say that the truth is the LIE. The human psyche is a fragile thing. I honestly believe this was understood long ago when they came up with this concept of religion. You can only admit it was a very effective tool. All I can say is I to I’m glad I am Gnostic.

First of all, I’m going to just say I’m glad I’m a Gnostic. I been through what Mason described attending churches. I would finally decide I wasn’t giving any more money. It does leave you wondering what the hell is really going on. And let us not forget how politicians are always using religion to buster their favor with the public. Religion teaches us to deny ourselves because it not only benefits the clergy it benefits our leaders. That’s the only reason why they tolerate it. They can so easily use it to their benefit.

I think religions is also used to justify wars and it always has been. It was used to justify slavery. To murder and still is to this day. Now we see how it is used to manipulate us into believing if we don’t give or money faithfully we aren’t pleasing to God. I’m not sure how any of this makes me feel. I like being enlightened but sometimes the truth can really upset you.

Mason girl this is some heavy stuff. I mean it’s so clear and you just can’t deny it. So look at all of this negative stuff we are learning in a place that is supposed to be representing God. I Now understand why Mason says religion has very little to do with the most high. I also like how she makes it clear that the most high is not gender-specific. I can remember hearing all those things mentioned in this article at church. I got so sick and tired of them always needing more money. And let’s not forget how they call you out if you’re not paying your tithes on a regular basis. I think they like the idea of public humiliation and shame. That just shows us where a lot of these negative kind of cruel behaviors started.

I’m with you Justin. I’m just glad I’m a Gnostic and my eyes are open. I’m glad we have people like Aunt Mason to help guide our ability to see or discern. I mean…no wonder so many people find victim to scams. They get us early to. Forcing us into church, telling us things that scare us into compliance. I think it’s a disgusting way to represent the Most High and I’m glad I was delivered from it. I’m coming away with the message aunt Mason. Excessive anything is just wrong.
