Yeah…they are really rubbing me wrong. If I find something bothersome about this it’s bad. I mean, don’t pretend to be something other than what you profess to be. They are trusted. If they weren’t folks wouldn’t call them when they are in distress. This is not what any of us want are expect when it comes to law enforcement. It’s disturbing in so many ways. The playing field is not level. I mean, everyone is all in an uproar when someone kills a police officer, it’s time we got in an uproar when they gun down unarmed, often children, simply because they are black. And if I hear one more damn white person say all lives matter I’ll shoot them my damn self. Of course, our lives matter, shit there is no question about that. But have black lives ever mattered? Clearly not in the United States.

I think it messes with all of us Carm, any one who values life and takes the role of protect and serve to heart. I’ll admit it sometimes keeps me awake trying to make sense of it. But we can’t make sense of the senseless, the demons that walk among us who are in all types of positions they should never be in.

Yep…I don’t like her Doug and I’m going to tell her I don’t care who she’s related to. She’s a bitch and somebody needs to tell her.

Carmine and if all lives matter than stop killing these children and young men for no good reason. I’m real tired of it to. I’m more tired of how nothing is done about it, or they are exonerated until after the fact and then pushed out the back door after they world is lead to believe they are innocent. If they don’t want the reputation of the police depart tarnished then do something about cops shooting first and asking questions later or covering up what they know they’ve done wrong.

I have several people and like Mason, I have already started putting them in their place with me. I had a friend I work with that likes to tell racial jokes. I told her today I don’t like it, I don’t want to hear it. It’s not funny, and I told her she’s a racist. Of course, she acted as if she was shocked. I didn’t care, I told her I didn’t care to be friends with a racist, I have black and Hispanic people in my family, and the things she does and says are offensive. I love my family and I don’t want to be friends with someone who clearly doesn’t care about hurting my feelings and making me uncomfortable. I spoke up and three other people agreed with me. Mark you are so right. If we speak up and show some initiative, it will help others who share your views to speak up as well. She was also called into the boss’s office and I’m not sure what happened but that’s on her. Being a racist can be costly damnit.

I would have to say it’s my mother. I have never really stood up to her I don’t think, because if I had she wouldn’t still be doing and saying the things she does and says to me. My grandfather called me and told me I wasn’t happy finding a nice black girl to marry, I had to go marry a white girl. I asked him why he bothered calling someone he was so ashamed of and he said someone needed to tell me or remind me I am black. He says my mother is black and he doesn’t care how light skinned I am or how blue my eyes are I’m still black in the sight of America. He called me a musty that can pass as a quadrium of some shit like that. He says all it means is light skin blacks. I just laughed. I told him I’m not ashamed of my black culture nor am I ashamed of my white culture. He told me to keep on and one day white people like Donald Trump would show me just how none white I am. I said all right grandpa, I don’t give a damn about Donald trump but okay. I’m just not sure what to say to them. He’s a minister and OMG his so racist and mean. I don’t want to have anything to do with his belief or his god.

I feel you Carmine. It makes my stomach hurt every time it happens. How cold blooded could they be? And they are in uniform.
