Our father is a devil and he tore us to shreds. Living in the house with him was pure hell. He was just as bad as our ex-uncle. I can’t believe he shot Lin and on purpose. This is how bad life can be when living with a demon. Our father lied to our mother like he breathed. He would then attack her when she discovered his lies. I married a man just like my father and he almost killed me. He lied to our mother about vital things, for which if she had known I’m sure she would never have married him. I am glad she is happy now and I am glad my sister and I survived being in very abusive relationships. I mean psychologically I found myself marrying the kind of man I grew up with even though I hated him. I swore I’d never have a man like our father and that is exactly what I ended up with in my first marriage. He lied, he cheated. He kept secrets and when I questioned him he beat me. I also lied, it was the only way to get away from him in one piece and I’m glad to have found a good man who loves me and treats me with dignity and respect.

Well, I have to agree our grandparents, mainly our grandfather, drove a wedge between our parents and us simply because our father wouldn’t live his life the way my grandfather wanted him to. Thanks to Mark and Sir Paul, my father could not be the man my grandfather wanted him to be at that time. My grandfather has come to his senses and is working to repair the damage his contempt, also rooted in racism, caused. I’m glad I started to listen to my wife and my sister because this is what lead this broken family back together. It’s a hard, often long road to recovery but the sooner we start the sooner the healing begins. This the price of secrets that lead to devastating lies that destroy so many lives.

I’m so devastated about what he did to my brother. He lies to me all the time. He told me it was an accident, as he watched what love I desperately tried to hold to for him slip away when I got the news. It’s a thin line between love and hate that’s so true. I look forward to pray and guidance this meeting because I do not want to harbor hate but I’m so disgusted, ashamed and I feel so betrayed. I tried to embrace him despite his many flaws. I can’t do that anymore. I have to be honest with myself. I have to stop allowing his lies and deceit cloud my better judgement and keep me in a state of perpetual willing blindness to what is real, what is true. I’m staggering in mom…Benji. Thank you for your patience and you understanding I have finally opened my eyes or shall I say I am no longer walking around with my eyes wide shut.

As we wind down this article topic, we are also preparing to return to our homes from this season's meeting. It was wonderful to see all of you as always, and we are extra excited and happy to see one of you because it could have been very different. Linden we thank the Most High you are with us and we hope you will continue to lean on us while you work through your physical and emotional recovery.

Deb, Benji, It was more than a pleasure and a surprise to meet your father Jackson. He is a delight and I'm glad he desires to be a part of your life. He lost a son in the line of duty, your half brother Hank, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, fighting in Afghanistan. He lost his wife to breast cancer three years ago. You two are all he has left, he emotionally told us. It is a blessing from the most high that you are now all joined together as it is more than clear you two need him as much as he needs and has always wanted to be a part of your lives. Benji...now you know where you got those amazing good looks.

Debra, you look just like your dad. You are beautiful darling.

Mary...embrace your husband and both of you lean on each other as your family has been hit with a near death recently. This affects our immediate family as well as Linden our nephew. I can't tell you how grateful I am he is still with us. Justin, you and your family are affected as well as Linden is your welcomed son in law. The entire Gnostic family shares in gratitude that he was not more seriously injured or killed. Let this remind us to love those near and dear to us and make sure they always know they are loved and appreciated as tomorrow is clearly not promised to any of us.

For those wondering about my dear husband, he has made a miraculous full recovery thanks to his little brother.

and he will be with us until the Most High says otherwise. Also, Justin's mother is recovering and we were so excited to get the emotional news from his very grateful father during this meeting.
In the next thread, covering the winter meeting, we will talk more about some of the amazing changes that occurred in our lives since the fall, of 2017 meeting so stay tuned and thanks for participating Gnostic family and group members.
