Mark you are the coolest and I can’t tell you how good it feels to have a man like you stand up for woman all over the world. We are lucky to have you and I know you dad is smiling down on you. You are everything he knew you would one day be and that is so gratifying.

I have to say it was hard being a practicing Catholic because not only where the priest molesting young boys, there was a time when they, and they still might be, having sex with the nuns and killing the babies that came as a result. This can’t possibly be Godly I’m sorry. Then we had to watch our father cheat on our mother and beat on her as well. It was just hard to believe in the teachings of the church while living in a nightmare day in and day out. I grew up and married my father and found myself in the same position my mother was in all her life. I’m so glad she found happiness at the tail end of her life but that was thanks to Sir Paul and his beliefs not the Catholic or any Christian church.

Mark, I couldn’t agree with you more. Doc well said and you’re a good man.

I followed my family and finally life is on track. Like my siblings I was tired of all the hate in the church. The judging, the racism. Seriously who wants to worship a racist god? We all want to believe God is bigger than that. I am glad to say I followed my father and learned God is bigger than that. I marry this fall to a woman I know was made especially for me. I’m embarking on a career I am more suited to. And my entire family is coming together as my grandparents will join us at this upcoming meeting and they are anxious to meet everyone. God is truly amazing and I am content.

Amen Mark and Doc Jess!

I think I was always looked down on and made to feel I wasn’t good enough. I was interrupted whenever I tried to speak about something as a deacon. They just treated me like…nothing an object. I kept trying to fit in to be a part but I was always the odd man out. My ex-wife didn’t respect me and would often say things in front of them making fun of me. I can’t believe that was ever my life and I’m so glad it’s not anymore. Saw my x not too long ago and she didn’t even recognize me. One of her friends said I looked familiar and she gasped when she realized who I was. I was holding my daughter and my son was holding Loreen’s hand. I just nodded and kept going. Told Loreen who she was when we left the store. I found myself, found my God, found my wife and family, I found my life!!!

Mark, I am glad there are men out there like the men in our Gnostic Family. Thank you for your powerful words and truly love and respect you.

You all know my story as well and I found no comfort in the Christian Church, none at all. Nothing made sense to me and it was hard to have faith in something that didn’t make sense. Now everything makes sense. I know the Most High is real, I know I am loved, and I know I matter to our creator. I am content.

Mark, I love it when you break down the characteristics of a real man bro. love it. These fake dudes are a joke and a man that beats on a woman and kids and rapes them is abominable I totally agree. It’s even sadder when women support and condone it when men behave badly. At my mother’s church the pastors were sleeping around on their wives who all knew what was going on and instead of them standing up to their husbands they looked down their noses at the women like they were at fault. It was sickening to listen to mom and her sisters talk. They didn’t see anything wrong with how the male leaders in the churches were behaving. They made me sicker than the pastors and their sorry ass sons. I’m like Chris…I couldn’t stand it. When Deb found all of you I was skeptical but I’m glad I took a chance.

Mark, why you got to make a girl cry like that? I’m so glad I met you and this group is full of 100% males.

Honey, I kind of knew who she was. She followed us around the store clearly wanting to say something to you but she never did. Her mouth fell open when she saw our car as we drove away. You paid her absolutely now attention and I just smiled and shook my head. Don’t be surprised if she hunts down your mother and ask how to reach out to you.

I was invited to a meeting and was forever changed. Like everyone else I found everything I was searching for and I am very content. I work in a job I love, teaching and editing. I have a wonderful loving husband and two beautiful kiddos…honey we have another baby coming by the way. You just keep knocking me up.
