Jazze and I took an interest in the young people facing homelessness and since we work in medical professions it wasn’t hard to find young people in bad permanent homes. We found a young female struggling in a home with alcoholic parents. I have seen her a couple times come in with injuries. And there was a teenage mother living with her parents also struggling because they are so hard on her. I don’t understand why people are so hard on their kids. But her and he little boy will hopefully be able to turn their lives around now. It does feel good and it’s very emotional.

Sometimes I really don’t know how people survive. I don’t know how they find the strength to go on. I have never faced such despair such devastation. I try to imagine how these people feel and my mind can’t begin to formulate living this way. If I’m hungry I have always been able to eat. I’ve never been to cold, to hot, without utility service, water service, phone of television service. Seeing this kind of thing has really opened my eyes to how fortunate I have been all my life and I can appreciate it a little more. I’m enjoying assisting these families. It makes me feel good inside to change someone’s life. It’s so easy to make it better and I don’t know why we are not a species focused on making life better for our kind instead of worse.

Me and my little brother Brice visited a cps crisis center looking for young teenagers soon to be adults, living in abusive homes. The staff was really helpful not knowing how to tell them they won’t be able to provide them with assistance once they become adults. There are so many places to look and find those most in need of assistance we just need to make an effort. It was really a worthwhile experience and you won’t feel any better than you feel when you know in your soul you have made a real significant change in the life of someone who really needed compassion and a hand up not a hand out.

Yeah we see a lot of abused kiddos and we wanted to do something to help them. I agree with Lin there are so many ways to find people who really need our help and I like how some of us decided to team up and find our candidates. I like the two young people we selected because I felt like we were getting two young people who really needed our help. The amazing thing was they were really the only two so desperately in need of help. I enjoyed this activity and look forward to doing my part in the future to servicing our community and fellow human beings.

This is my first activity with this group and it’s been real eye-opening. I hate crying but man…this has been real emotional. I can’t find the words really to express how impressed I am with this group and with the people all of us have picked to help improve their lives. I feel real good about myself and real excited to be a part of the Gnostic faith and this Gnostic Group.

I want to thank all of you for participating in this month’s article discussion and our activity. We have close to 90 people entering our restart program and I’m so excited. It was a pleasure to meet all of your selections and they are very hopeful and excited to be given this opportunity to restart their lives. Many will work for me, Justin, JR, Rod, Nick, Mike, Jordan, Jess, Josh, and Kelton as we are blessed to have business owners in our group willing to hire are recruits and assist in helping people restart their lives. Great job folks let this be the beginning of us doing our part to help those who need help the most.
