That’s right. Yeah I see the point here, the boys were in the wrong but so was the shooter.

'Say Her Name' Sandra Bland's story is extremely tragic. First: I was reminded how poor black people are in this country. They didn't have $500 to bail her out right away. That's how it is in black families. Black people live paycheck to paycheck and sometimes they have to take out payday loans, pawn shit, rob Peter to pay Paul, and claim more people during the year to lower how much jobs take in taxes. They murdered her because the knew they could get away wit it and they did. They let things quiet down and they dismissed everything. They just weigh us down. They know we don't have the money or the means to keep things going. It just made me cry that's how tragic the whole thing is. I do wish she had just been quiet I really do.

'Southern Rites' I started off upset with the father, then I was pissed at his daughter and I still am, then I saw this through the eyes of some of you and I had to say, yeah he deserved some time and yes the boys were out of line and it ended up costing one of them their lives. There should be some consequences for her part in all this and I don't know how she sleeps at night because she told them to come over. It's unfortunate all around.

We were able to watch the documentaries over the weekend and both were disturbing. The one, 'Southern Rites' I'm conflicted because I think he was in protection mode but he let it go beyond that so I do think he deserved to go to jail for the short time he went. I do think the parents need to take in to consideration their sons were doing something they should not have been doing. I mean, it seems to me that this is the time to take responsibility for what is right instead of play the complete victims in this situation. His daughter, her friend, and the man who did the shooting are also victims of the bad decisions the teenagers made. At what point do we as parents take some responsibility or at least hold our children responsible for misbehaving. They knew that girl was a minor, they knew they should not be in any man's house at that hour white, black, Japanese, Muslim it wouldn't have mattered the ethnicity of the shooter, or the boys for that matter. They should not have been in that that mans house having sex with his minor daughter, and smoking pot. The parents need to acknowledge their sons had no business in that mans house. It's unfortunate and would be easier for the country to see both sides if each side took responsibility for what happened. Everyone in the situation seems to have admitted their mistakes in the situation. The family of the young man who was killed have not taken responsibility for their son's behavior that evening.

The documentary about Sandra Bland really troubled me. She was murdered and I heard via the news the family was award a little over a million dollars, which to me proves there was foul play. It turns my stomach to know someone went in there and killed that beautiful young woman and they all covered it up. All of them. She was arrested illegally and she was senseless murdered while in the custody of law enforcement. I'm sick of how this is allowed to continue. We have got to hold all law enforcement to a higher standard. We have to demand it. I also agree, we need to make sure racist are not allowed to hold positions of power in this country.

Well, I agree with the men about the father being responsible for holding the boys some what in a hostage situation and making them feel they had to escape. He was wrong for that. I agree the boys were wrong as well for being there in the first place and I blame the daughter for having the in her father's house. It was a high price to pay for being disobedient and stupid.

What happen to Sandra is what disturbs me the most. it was hurtful to watch this documentary because I remember how they tried to say she was depressed and used pot regularly, I remember all of that. In this documentary that was all proven to be a total lie! I know now she was murdered and i think that officer that kept looking at that camera had something do to with what happened to her. They are all guilty of covering it up.

Listen...the bottom line with both of these documentaries is racially motivated violence is well and alive. These things aren't happening to white boys and girls and I know for a fact what boys and girls do things just as reckless and dangerous, just s brazen. I was one of the. I can't tell yoy how many windows I had to sneak out of when I was a teen. I was never shot for it. The bottom line is there is a problem in this country. Black people are not seen as worthy, their lives are not as valued as those of white people and that is simply inhumane. They are no less human than white people and their are definitely of equal value in the sight of the Most High. So we need to really deal with what is going on in this country. I think the man in Georgia got what he deserved he should have gotten more time. I really hate what happened to Sandra and we need to get rid of this administration because the last one was working to clean up corrupt police departments. But on no...we have a corrupt president and of course he put an end to all of that. We have a serious racial problem in this country and everyone needs to wake the hell up and recognize how serious it is. People are being murdered by washed out hillbillies collecting disability, and overweight hillbillies in law enforcement positions. WE need change and we need it now. I say looks matter and if you aren't in shape you shouldn't be in law enforcement. big fat fucks!!! It disgusting.

I agree with Anthony, both of the documentaries prove there is still a very serious racial problem in this country. They idea that black lives are not as valuable as white lives is obvious. I was a bad boy as well. In my younger years, I slipped into a few homes after hours. I was caught, given a lecture, my parents were called, and I was asked not to return, I was not held hostage, there was no gun involved. I do appreciate a father waking up and finding strange teenage males in his house with his underage daughter but he went to far, he should have tried to see what was going on and no gun was needed in the situation. All he had to do was tell them to get the hell out of his house. They weren't there to rob him, he clearly didn't have anything. They were there to hang out with his daughter and her friend. They were invited. No gun should have been present. He should have gotten more time.

As a now former law enforcement officer, I am sick and tired of how police officers treating black people 100 times worse than they treat white people. Black Lives Matter and Sandra was murdered in that damn cell. They all know about it and they may get away with it by way of man but they are getting away with nothing by way of the Most High.
